BIELER, PE., CFM May 28, 2026 Honorable Town Board Town of Orchard Park 4295 South Buffalo Street Orchard Park, New York 14127 Re: 2026 Seasonal Help F/T Engineering Department Dear Board Members: With the current workload of the Engineering Department, | am recommending supplementing our staff with full-time seasonal help. As in the past our department hires high school graduates or college students who are planning on continuing their education in the field of engineering to assist our staff with surveying, engineering evaluations/calculations and engineering drafting. Nolan Hochworter is a bright young individual who is dedicated and eager to learn. He has received excellent recommendations, and | feel he will be an asset to the Engineering Department. Funds have been allocated in the 2026 budget for seasonal help in the Engineering Department. |, therefore, recommend that you approve Nolan Hochworter, to a full- time seasonal position in the Engineering Department for a maximum of thirteen weeks beginning June 15, 2026, at a wage rate of $17.00 per hour.
