Nee 10 MEMORANDUM 8.4295 SOUTH BUFFALO STREET ORCHARD PARK, NEW YORK 14127 (716) 662-6432, ext. 2202 DATE: 7/30/26 TO: Town Board Members COPY: Bill Evans, Town Clerk Jennifer Brady, Deputy Town Attorney FROM: Anna Worang-Zizzi, Director of Community Development SUBJECT: Item(s) for TB Agenda NEW BUSINESS: I am recommending the following sample resolution regarding Kristin Mahoney’s vacation time: WHEREAS, the Town’s personnel policy generally requires employees to use accrued vacation time by year end unless authorized by the Town Board, and WHEREAS, Kristin Mahoney’s full time first anniversary date is December 8" 2026, and due to the timing of her anniversary and staffing, she is unable to utilize all of her accrued vacation time by the end of 2026, WHEREAS, the Town Board finds that allowing the carrying of vacation time is appropriate under these circumstances, NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes Kristin Mahoney to carry over five (5) days of accrued vacation into the 2027 calendar year to be used by December 31* 2027.
