yom Resolution for battery storage and solar energy systems Whereas the Town of Orchard Park seeks to regulate battery energy storage systems and solar energy systems to protect public health, safety, and welfare; and Whereas the Town Board finds it necessary to review and update local standards for such facilities; Now, Therefore, be it resolved that the Town Board establishes a temporary moratorium on new battery energy storage system facilities and Tier 2 and Tier 3 solar energy systems for a period of 12 months, during which the Town will prepare a local law provisions.
