Chairman Ryan Wilkins started the meeting by introducing Taylor Erhardt, Attorney for David DiMatteo’s office, Nina Ballou from Wendel, Attorney and Representative for National Energy Development. National Energy Development speaker discussed their Sketch plan regarding the proposed Solar Project on Hand Road. Solar panels would be constructed on 6.75 Acres (1 megawatt). National Energy Development also shared protentional benefits and intended use of electricity generated by this project. Presentation was then followed by any questions or concerns form the Planning Board and missing items were discussed by the representative from Wendel. Chairman Ryan Wilkins then opened the meeting to the public for questions, concerns, and comments. Many questions were asked as well as concerns raised by the audience regarding the project including battery storage, size, style, wetlands and underground wiring. It was noted that at the next meeting the board will discuss the site plan review with engineer and the SEQR. Meeting will be determined at a later date. No Further business was discussed. Aaron Root made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Dan Szustakowski seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 3 ayes to 0 noes. Meeting adjourned at 7:48 pm.
