Trustee Bley – The DPW has done a really good job on the roads so far this winter, considering the equipment they have left to use. The Town of Collins and North Collins assisted our DPW with helping pick up the large snow piles. The Christmas decorations have all been taken down from Main Street. The salt situation is still ok, but we are already maxed out for future purchases. Bob asked if there was any progress on the F550? And why have we not looked into replacing the motor with a new Jasper Engine? The cost to do this would be approximately $10,000 dollars. It was also mentioned that it would be nice to have an inventory of the Highway department. Water Report – Monthly testing and reporting completed. Maintenance and cleaning completed. A minor repair was made at the booster station. Well 5 was cleaned and rehabbed. Fire Report – There were 9 calls in December. 70 total calls in 2025. Flow testing for air packs will be done in February. The company is applying for FEMA and NYS VFire grants. All turnout gear from John Mills money has been ordered.
