MARCH 16, 2026 The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hamburg was called to order by Mayor Thomas P. Tallman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Village Hall, 100 Main Street, Hamburg, New York. PRESENT: Thomas P. Tallman Mayor Paul Gaughan Deputy Mayor Laura Hackathorn Trustee Holly Park Trustee Jeff Davis Trustee Edward J. Murphy, III Village Attorney Jason Cozza Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer Mary McKee Deputy Clerk Marc Shuttleworth Supt. of Public Works Matt Cullen Police Captain Jacie Schmid Recreation Leader Excused: Joshua Haeick Recreation Supervisor Richard Schara Police Chief 1. MOTION by Trustee Hackathorn, seconded by Trustee Davis, to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees held on Monday March 2, 2026. AYES: Five NAYS: None CARRIED PUBLIC EXPRESSION: None this evening. CORRESPONDENCE: None this evening. TRUSTEE MOTIONS: 2. MOTION by Trustee Hackathorn, seconded by Trustee Davis, to transfer $45.00 from A.2770 Miscellaneous Revenue into the Police Equipment Reserve A.0878. This money was collected by the Police Department for copy fees and charges in Feb 2026. AYES: Five NAYS: None CARRIED 3. MOTION by Trustee Hackathorn, seconded by Trustee Davis, to amend the budget by reducing A.3003 County Aid in the amount of $90,000 and increasing A.3005 Mortgage Tax in the amount of $90,000. This rectifies a clerical error in the 2025-2026 Budget. AYES: Five NAYS: None CARRIED 4. MOTION by Trustee Hackathorn, seconded by Trustee Davis, to adopt the Budget for Fiscal Year June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027. The General Fund tax rate for the Village of Hamburg is set at $24.78 per thousand dollars of assessed value. The Capital Improvement Program will expend $8,226,307 in the 2026-2027 fiscal year. 93
