JULY 20, 2026 Department of Public Work.: DPW Superintendent Marc Shuttleworth said his crews are working on sidewalks, among other things, so if anyone has high sidewalks and would like them replaced, please call down to the DPW and they will get them on the schedule. FURTHER PUBLIC EXPRESSION: Bob Sillence, 339 Pleasant Avenue, submitted a document that he said was a right-of-way the Village secured in 1925 to access property along the former train station between Haviland and Pleasant Avenue, noting that that does not make it a street. Village Attorney Ed Murphy reminded Mr. Sillence they had previously discussed the document, and the Village is still trying to make a determination if there was a right of way. In the meantime, the Village is still negotiating with the current owners of the property. MAYOR’S REPORT: Mayor Tallman reminded everyone that the mid-week Market has returned to the Village on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Mayor also announced that Slow Roll Hamburg is coming up on Thursday, July 30 from 6-9 pm, with the bikers starting at Coyote Café. Finally, Mayor Tallman reiterated that Burgerfest was a success despite the calls for bad weather, and he thanked the Department of Public Works for all of the efforts in getting the Burgerfest banner up. The next Work Session of the Board with department heads and staff will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026. Pending matters, including agenda items for the Regular Board Meeting, will be discussed. The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026. These meetings are open to the press and public. The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Jason T. Cozza Jason T. Cozza Village Administrator 23
