WEST SENECA HISTORICAL PRESERVATION COMMISSION - MEETING MINUTES WEST SENECA COMMUNITY CENTER - 1300 UNION ROAD, WEST SENECA, NY 14224 DATE August 5, 2026 CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the West Seneca Historical Preservation Commission was called to order by Chairperson Lang at 6:36 PM. Maureen Berbary • Scott Robertson (Excused) APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion to waive the reading of the July 1, 2026 meeting minutes by Mr. Ball, second by Ms. D’Amico. Ayes: All Noes: None Abstain: None Motion: Carried Motion by Mr. Ball, seconded by Ms. D'Amico, to approve the July 1, 2026 meeting minutes. Ayes: All Noes: None Abstain: None Motion: Carried OLD BUSINESS • Demolition Order Update Chairperson Lang reported no response from Town Attorney Chris Trapp despite multiple email follow-ups. Chairperson Lang stated he will continue to seek an update • Local landmark Recognition: 919 Mill Rd. Chairperson Lang reported he drafted a formal recognition letter to the West Seneca Historical Society commemorating 919 Mill Road as the Town’s first local historic landmark. He will print and deliver the letter to the Historical Society. He also stated he will share the announcement with Deputy Town Supervisor Amelia Greenan for Town social media publicity and will contact the West Seneca Bee to pursue coverage. 1
