Town Board of the Town of Hamburg November 2, 2026 Meeting 4.27. Authorizing the Non-Renewal of the Contract with Granicus at CARAHSOFT WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg implemented live streaming services for Town meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide residents with a means of viewing and accessing meetings remotely; and WHEREAS, live streaming is not mandated by New York State law and was implemented as a courtesy to Town residents to improve public access during limited in-person participation; and WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg entered into an agreement with Granicus at Carahsoft in December 2024 for the purpose of live streaming Town Board and Planning Board meetings; and WHEREAS, the current agreement is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2026; and WHEREAS, due to financial considerations and the limited viewership of the services provided, the Town Board has determined that continuing the agreement would not be in the best financial interest of the Town; and WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to provide formal written notice to Granicus at Carahsoft of the Town’s decision not to renew the agreement in accordance with the notice requirements set forth in the contract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg hereby authorizes the Supervisor to sign and submit a formal non-renewal contract notice to Granicus at Carahsoft effective December 31, 2026. 110
