Town Board of the Town of Hamburg November 2, 2026 Meeting 4.22. Award Demolition Contractors for 6817 Boston State Rd. WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg Code Chapter 80 references the procedure for unsafe buildings in the Town of Hamburg, and, WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg Board deemed the structures 6817 Boston State Rd. unsafe and ordered the demolition of the structures on the property, and, WHEREAS, Bids for a demolition contractor where publically opened and quotes for an air monitoring company were received as follows: Demolition Contractors Hannah Demolition $19,500.00 Geiter Done of WNY INC. $34,000.00 Air monitoring companies 56 Services $2,610.00 , and, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves Hannah Demolition as the demolition contractor and 56 Services as the air monitoring company for the demolition of 6817 Boston State Rd. The demolition will begin after December 1st 2026, and, BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor sign any contracts required for the demolition, and, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Board shall levy the costs incurred for the demolition upon the land on which the unsafe structures are located. 77
