3.3.2 3.3.2 Application of Standard Stormwater Management Practices (SMPs) with RRv Capacity The following Table demonstrates a summary of the standard SMP(s) with RRv capacity that have been incorporated into the stormwater management plan for this project. The standard SMP(s) with RRv capacity have been designed in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Design Manual. Refer to the contract drawings for practice dimensions, material specifications, and installation details. Practice specific calculations are presented in Appendix C. Table 6: Summary of Standard SMPs with RRv Capacity being Applied WQv Pretreatment Standard Pretreatment WQv Reduced WQv Total WQv Design Volume RRv SMP with Volume Required /RRv Treated1 Provided2 Variant Required Capacity RRv Capacity Provided (CF) (CF) Provided (CF) (CF) (% of WQv) (CF) Filtration F-5 25 875 40% 3,499 1,500 1,999 3,499 Bioretention Footnotes: 1WQv Treated = WQV Required - RRv Provided 2Total WQv Provided = WQV Treated + RRv Provided 3.3.3 RRv Performance Summary A summary of the RRv provided is presented in the following table: Table 7: RRv Summary RRv Provided % RRv Provided/ WQv Required (CF) WQv Reduced (CF) WQv Reduced 10,567 1,500 >100% As indicated in the above table, the RRv provided is greater than the RRv required for the project site. As such, the RRv criteria has been met and the designer can proceed to Step 6. 3.4 STEP 4 – Calculate the Minimum RRv Required As indicated above, Section 9.2.1.B of the Design Manual indicates, “Although encouraged, meeting the RRv criteria is not required for the redevelopment activity portion of a project.” 3.5 STEP 5 – Apply Standard SMPs to Address Remaining Water Quality Volume If the entire Water Quality Volume is not treated through implementation of RR techniques and standard SMPs with RRv capacity, then the design must achieve the remaining WQv through the standard SMPs listed in Table 3.3 of the Design Manual or the Alternative Practices outlined in Section 9.4 of the Design Manual.
