Town of Boston, NY – Lighting Fund Less than 1% of your Town Tax Covers: 0.3% • Street lighting district costs The Town of Boston has partnered with NYSEG to replace existing street lighting with energy efficient LED Lighting. This program saves tax payers money while saving energy and reducing greenhouse gases. The Town of Boston has further partnered with NYMEP to reduce supplier charges on Town electric bills 83
