TO: Honorable Town Board FROM: Brian Adams, Highway Superintendent DATE: January 26, 2026 SUBJECT: Highway Superintendent Adams re Purchase of Nautilus HD Diesel Floor Scrubber Requested Action: Please see the attached invoice and allow the Highway Superintendent to execute the purchase of a used Nautilus HD Diesel Floor Scrubber and Sweeper from HJS in the amount of $19,000.00. Over the past few weeks, we have used this machine as a demo to potentially buy new. The approximate cost of the new machine on the state contract is $75,000.00. This piece of equipment will be used at the new highway garage, but also benefit other departments and facilities in town.
