July 8, 2026 Town of Boston Attention: Allison Koczur Subject: State Police A/C-4 Compressor change out Quote #: CL2026-115 Dear Allison, Mollenberg-Betz is pleased to submit a proposal for the above-referenced project per the Scope of Work, Pricing and the following Notes and Exceptions. Scope of Work Lockout, tag out equipment. Recover refrigerant and dispose per EPA regulations. Disconnect, remove and dispose of bad compressor. Furnish and install (1) new compressor (OEM-shipping included) Furnish and install new filter drier. Furnish and install new contactor. Pressurize and test for leaks. Evacuate and charge with R-22 refrigerant. Check and test proper operation, return to service. Sales or use taxes are not included in our pricing. If applicable they will be added to the quoted price. If the project is treated as a capital improvement, the quoted price will increase by the cost of the use tax incurred by Mollenberg- Betz. 2. This quote is for the scope as described. Any additional parts or material which may be required beyond this scope would be billed extra. We would discuss any additions with you before proceeding. 3. Overtime is not included in our pricing. 4. Asbestos and lead paint removal excluded. 5. Due to the volatility of the commodity markets, material and equipment quotes from our vendors are subject to change daily. Material and equipment quotes are valid for up to three days from date of quotation. Non- stock/special orders for material and equipment shall be valid for 24 hours from date of quotation. 6. Supplier quotations frequently exclude or do not identify final tariffs, duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, freight adjustments, and other import-related costs until the time of shipment, importation, customs clearance, or invoicing. Accordingly, Mollenberg-Betz cannot warrant or guarantee such costs at the time of quotation. Any tariffs, import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, border crossing fees, trucking charges, freight surcharges, government assessments, or similar costs imposed, increased, or first identified after the date of quotation shall be added to the contract amount and shall be the responsibility of the Customer. 7. Equipment rental rates provided by vendors are based upon rates in effect at the time of quotation. If rental rates, delivery charges, fuel surcharges, taxes, or related costs increase prior to or during the rental period, Mollenberg- Betz reserves the right to adjust pricing to reflect such increases. 8. For a period of one year from the date of equipment startup, Mollenberg-Betz warrants its work will be free and clear of defects in workmanship. If found, and defects will be repaired at no cost to the Customer. Warranty for installed parts and materials installed will be provided by the manufacturer of each specific product provided which is acknowledged and agreed to by Customer. 9. Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed to in advance by Mollenberg-Betz, Inc. If you have any questions/comments, please do not hesitate to call me.
