Town Board Meeting June 11, 2026 REGULAR TOWN MEETING Colden Town Hall – 7:00 pm Page 12 PLANNING Councilman Hrycik reported on the Planning Board’s continued work on improvements at Kummer Park, short-term rental law changes, and battery energy storage system regulation. WATER Supervisor DePasquale read the following report: • Usage update: At present time consumption billed by ECWA 1,875,000 gal. cost $ 8,193.75 + $434.87 = $ 8,628.62 expenditure for March water usage. o ECWA water cost $4.36 / K o Water usage – 42 G/M/31D • Hydrant #8 (last in BC Rd lay), received from vender, will schedule placement • Meter replacement scheduled for CES as soon as closed for summer break • Neptune 360 upgrade done, tablet functioning, but slow • Continue working on nonreading meters & registers • AWQR distributed and cert filled with DOH / ECWA Water Billing: • Open Accounts as of 05/01/2026 billing: Water Charge (223 units) $22,375.58 (2,640,977 gal) Infras + Capital Surchg $4,905.60 Arrears $7,756.09 Total Billed Sent $35,037.27 Current Receipts to date $24,152.47 Arrears to date $10,745.42 RECREATION Councilwoman Zurbrick reported the following: Summer program registration deadline is June 22nd. The soccer season ends on June 9th, followed by a pizza party for the Midget league kids on June 11th. A summer Yoga session will run from July 9 to August 13. We would like to approve the following employees at minimum wage: Lauren Smith Jack Sobkowiak Madison Cain Lilly Smith Ashlyn Sellers Eric Szyfranski Jillian Levakoff Maeve Annunziata Michael Holy Ty Ruhland Hailey Emerling Grace Wrotniak Also, McKayla Ruhland as Senior Summer Staff at $20/hr and John Georger as Tennis Instructor at $19.94/hr
