NO, 1-2026 LOCAL LAW NO. 1-2026 A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND LOCAL LAW 2-1988 KNOWN AS “ADOPTION OF CODE”, ADOPTED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF HOLLAND ON July 13,1988 BY AMENDING THE EXEMPTION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND LIMITED INCOMES. SECTION 1. LEGISLATIVE INTENT This Local Law amends a prior Local Law known as “Adoption of Code” adopted by the Town of Holland on July 13, 1988, as amended, relating to the administrative, legislative and general legislation of the Codes within the Town of Holland as herein set forth. This legislation amends the maximum annual income for persons with disabilities and limited incomes. SECTION 2. CHAPTER 108, ARTICLE Vi, SECTION 108-8 Section 108, Article VI, Section 108-8 is amended by amending the maximum annual income and exemption percentage stated therein by the following: The Town shall provide a partial exemption from real property taxation, pursuant to §459-c of the Real Property Tax Law, to persons with disabilities who have limited incomes in accordance with the following:
