Village of Gowanda Audit Proposal For the Year Ended May 31, 2026 Presented by: R.A. Mercer & Co., P.C. (5) Projected Start Date, Time to Complete the Audit, and Projected Completion Date We will work with management of the Village to determine a start date for the audit that is best for all parties involved. Ideally, we believe that a start date in October or November would be best. We would like to schedule a full week of fieldwork where we work with management on- site. We would then anticipate requiring another week or two to prepare the audit report, finalize our quality contro! documentation, and issue the report. We are cognizant of the February 28, 2027 due date and we fully anticipate being able to finalize the audit and the Single Audit submission well in advance of that date. 1
