Roll Call: Board Members: Geercken, Kogut, Sobaszek, Stampone, Turner Administrative: Clark, Balon, Hayes Approval of Minutes: of the Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting on June 24, 2026. Motion by Kogut; seconded by Sobaszek to adopt minutes of the Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting on June 24, 2026 as written. Yeas: Geercken, Kogut, Sobaszek, Stampone, Turner Carried 5-0 Communication from Zoning Board of Appeals Applicants: 1. Land Use Variance/Area Variance – 2303 Hamburg Turnpike – Matt Riggi / Sweet Life LLC. Applicant is requesting a building coverage variance from 15 percent to 7 percent of the lot to permit installation of a new 72-foot by 450-foot sugar storage facility within the Bethlehem Redevelopment Area (BRA) Zone. Motion by Geercken; seconded by Stampone to open floor to public comment. Yeas: Geercken, Kogut, Sobaszek, Stampone, Turner Carried 5-0 Public comment: Eric Burroughs of Ferrous Manufacturing Inc., located at 1951 Hamburg Turnpike Building 30, spoke. Discussion focused on drainage, standing water, retention ponds, pot holes, and remnants of raw product mixing into the aforementioned areas. Motion by Geercken; seconded by Sobaszek to close floor to public comment.
