WEST SENECA COURT ROOM DRAFT TOWN BOARD PROCEEDINGS
1250 Union Road Minutes - Meeting # 2026-03
West Seneca, NY 14224 February 9, 2026

Ann Marie Sharkey, Clinton Street:
- In her opinion, this is not the right location for the project, Seneca Creek Road is a residential street

Rachel Sharkey, Clinton Street:
- Expressed concerns about transient guests, not wedding or venue guests

Comments from Facebook:

In opposition
Julie Ball - Oppose the proposal
Nash B - Request should be denied, short-term rentals can bring reckless behaviors
Desiree Vastola - The project is only generating 4 new jobs, construction team is not guaranteed to
be local, project only benefits the owner, the owner was aware of the zoning when purchasing the
property

In support:
Jake - Is there an amount for property tax generated from the property, are there safety nets
Jonathan - Fully support, positive addition and benefit to community as a whole, owners are hard-
working, respected and are confident that everything is being done properly, responsibly, and with
the best intentions for the town
