While it has been a benefit to the department in streamlining the application process, we have found that it is lacking in several areas. After an internal review of departmental needs and a survey of software available, I am requesting approval to purchase the iWorQ software for a 3-year contract as attached. This software addresses the areas in which the current program is lacking, and more. And the goal of switching programs is to streamline operations, improve workflow, and more importantly to improve compliance with DOS Building Standards and Codes regulations. I understand that a needs assessment is planned for Town operations as a whole and we will participate in that process and review any software proposed at that time. Thank you, liz
