WHEREAS, the Library Board of Trustees has recommended that Cathleen S Allen be appointed to fill the vacant position. REGULAR MEETING TOWN OF COLLINS JUNE 8, 2026 4 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Collins Town Board hereby appoints Cathleen S Allen to the Town of Collins Public Library Board of Trustees to fill the unexpired term of Holly Martindale, which expires on December 31, 2030. 4. Discussion on proposed new Town Code “Poultry Regulation Law of the Town of Collins” There are a number of residents in the hamlets of Collins and Collins Center that want to raise chickens and there are complaints that neighbors do not want them next door to them. The Planning Board looked into this in October 2025 and made a recommendation to the Board and proposes the “Poultry Regulation Law of the town of Collins”. The Code Enforcement Officer would be the official who enforces the law. Attorney Musacchio suggests limiting the chickens to the water districts. It was brought up to have coop permits and give out rules. Super Martin would like the Board to go through the proposed local law for the next meeting.
