® The 1.7 million gallon finished water storage tank (clearwell) located on Crestwood Drive
was inspected by a professional tank inspection company on 12/8/2025. Results will be
shared with the Village immediately upon receiving the report from Atlantic Underwater
Services. A brief overview of the inspection when on site:
o Tank concrete structure is generally satisfactory in condition
Roughly 1” of sediment in bottom
  0

Roof structure is in poor condition and does not meet current standards
  00

Drain and overflow do not meet current standards
Inlet/outlet piping will likely need to be reconfigured
  oaoa

Current configuration does not appear to accommodate effective operation of the
system if the tank needs to be taken out of service (such as for maintenance)
o Some existing valving is generally aged and may not be considered reliable should
the tank need to be isolated or drained. '

e ‘Task 1: Engineering Study and Report
o Weare continuing to confirm the goals and concerns of the Village as the project
  progresses.
o We have gathered a considerable number of existing reports, drawings and
records from various sources with Mark Burr and the Village water staff being a
tremendous resource. All documents received have been digitized and organized
electronically for the Village’s use when the project is completed.
  * Note thatno drawings for the 1.7 million gallon finished storage tank have
been found at this time, the tank was built in 1936. Village water staff
continue to search through their records forany drawings that may pertain
to the tank and associated tank inlet/outlet piping.
© Several site visits have been completed and existing records analyzed allowing our
team to have a better understanding of the existing water system. This process is
ongoing as we continue to learn about the system and gain information on
  outstanding questions we have.
o Weare currently assessing the system issues and deficiencies according to current
  standards
«Tank roof structure is in poor condition
  * Coke aeration filter is in deplorable condition (CCHD 2024 Sanitary Survey)
  *  Reservoir source site security
® Layne Wellhouse is in very poor condition
