Sewer Department Board Meeting Report March 2026 Daily Responsibilities: Daily Readings/Reports and Plant Inspection Pump approx. 10,000 gallons of primary sludge to sludge thickening tank. Pump thickened sludge to Digester as needed. Lab Samples two times per day. Ongoing Responsibilities: Belt Press Sludge Repair and rebuild pumps. Clean Tanks. Flush Sewers (as needed and per maintenance schedule). General upkeep of grounds and buildings. These items are directly related to the treatment plant. This month additionally we have: Completed Monthly DMR for NYSDEC. Assisted and received assistance from Highway and Water as needed. Marked dig notices. NYSDEC had a contractor sample Landfill #2 on Panther Drive on the 25" and 26" of February. e NYSDOT plow hit another manhole on Main Street, it will be repaired when weather permits. e Andy tentative retirement date June 12. e Annual DEC inspection is scheduled for the 13%.
