Village of Gowanda Board Meeting Minutes June 9, 2026 The Village of Gowanda Board of Trustees meeting was cailed to order by Mayor Nephew at 6:00 PM. Present: Mayor Mark Nephew, Trustee Peter Sisti, Trustee Paul Zimmermann, Trustee Wanda Koch, Trustee Carol Sheibley Employees: Clerk Danielle Wagner, Treasurer Traci Hopkins, Water Supervisor Kirk Trumpore, Code George Poff Absent: Attorney Deb Chadsey, Highway Supervisor Adam Reid, WWTP Supervisor Andy Carriero, Code Jason Pickering, OIC Ross Olszewski Public: Jack Broyles Agenda & Minutes 6-1-Motion-Motion by Trustee Zimmermann, seconded by Trustee Sistito approve the agenda for the June 9, 2026 meeting. Motion carried. §-2-Motion-Motion by Trustee Sheibley, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve the minutes from the May 12, 2026 meeting. Motion carried. Public Participation Jack Broyles-Property assessment meeting with the Town of Persia. Correspondence e Erie County Community Development Block grant consortium renewal request. Official Business Mayor/Board of Trustees Carol Sheibley prepared a 250-year celebration proclamation Motion 6-3-Motion by Trustee Sheibley, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve the 250 Year Celebration Proclamation July 12, 2026. Motion carried. The Gowanda Chamber submitted a request for music in the park support. Motion 6-4-Motion by Trustee Zimmerman, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve the Gowanda Chamber music in the park support request for $500.00. Motion carried. Code Enforcement-George Poff
