I respectfully request Council approval to initiate the milling and paving project on Martin Road,
spanning from Abbott Road to South Park Avenue.

This project will require engaging a professional engineering firm to prepare the necessary
scope of work and technical specifications. Upon completion of the design phase, the project will
proceed through the formal bidding process in accordance with all applicable procurement
requirements.

Authorization to move forward at this time will enable the City to properly plan, obtain accurate
pricing, and schedule the work accordingly.

Please note that this project will be fully reimbursed through the NYSDOT CHIPS program.

Thank you for your consideration.

DANIEL GEERCKEN, SENIOR FOREMAN OF PUBLIC WORKS
