Yeas: Muflahi, Anderson, Meegan, Surdyke, Marrano Carried 5-0 RESOLUTION No. 2, 2026 Whereas, Chapter 3, Section 3.7 of the Charter of the City of Lackawanna provides for meeting dates of the Lackawanna City Council; and Whereas, the City Council is desirous of complying with the Charter of the City of Lackawanna and the Open Meetings Law of the State of New York; Be it resolved, the following meeting dates for the City Council meetings for the year 2026 shall be as follows: Monday, January 5 – Reorg. Meeting Monday Monday, July 20 Tuesday, January 20 (MLK) Monday, August 17 Monday, February 2 Tuesday, September 8 (Labor Day) Tuesday, February 17 (President’s Day) Monday, September 21 (NYCOM 14-18th) Monday, March 2 Monday, October 5 Monday, March 16 Monday, October 19 Tuesday, April 7 Monday, November 2 Monday, April 20 Monday, November 16 Monday, May 4 Monday, December 7 Monday, May 18 Monday, December 21 Monday, June 1 Monday, June 15 Be it further resolved, that all Council meetings shall be held in Lackawanna City Hall unless otherwise deemed by the City Council; and Be it further resolved, that a copy of this resolution be posted on the centrally located bulletin board in the lobby of City Hall, on the Council bulletin and in the City Clerk’s Office.
