TOWN OF AURORA 575 OAKWOOD AVENUE, EAST AURORA, NY 14052 BUILDING DEPARTMENT (716) 652-7591 MEMO TO: Mayor Wochensky, and Village Trnstees FROM: Elizabeth Cassidy, Code Enforcement Officer DATE: April 7, 2026 The Building Depaiiment has accepted a Special Use Pe1mit (SUP) application for 635 Main St by Sylvia Walw01ih of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, purchaser of the prope1ty. The use of the property for a vehicle service shop is allowed by special use permit. Village Code section 285- 52.1 C requires a new special use permit to be issued when a change in ownership of the prope1ty occurs. Village Code section 285-52.3B states that the Village Board may refer the Special Use Permit application to the Planning Commission for their review and recommendations. The Village Board shall then schedule a public hearing for the applications. A County referral is required for this application due to the proximity to a State Highway (Main St/20A).
