The use of the property for a vehicle service shop is allowed by special use permit. Village Code section 285- 52.1 C requires a new special use permit to be issued when a change in ownership of the prope1ty occurs. Village Code section 285-52.3B states that the Village Board may refer the Special Use Permit application to the Planning Commission for their review and recommendations. The Village Board shall then schedule a public hearing for the applications. A County referral is required for this application due to the proximity to a State Highway (Main St/20A).
