REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP No: 005 REVISED Date Issued: 10.05.2026 Project: Town of Hamburg Senior and Community Center Project No: 24-1116 Location: 2982 Lakeview Road, Hamburg, New York 14075 Client: Town of Hamburg Construction Manager: Square Engineering, DPC Please submit an itemized proposal for changes in the Contract Sum and Contract Time for proposed modifications to the Contract Documents described herein. Within 10 days, the Contractor must submit this proposal or notify the Architect in writing of the date on which proposal submission is anticipated. THIS IS NOT A CHANGE ORDER, CONSTRUCTION CHANGE DIRECTIVE, OR DIRECTION TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK DESCRIBED IN THE PROPOSED MODIFICATION. 01 CLARIFICATIONS: 1) Changing pumps from 120V as submitted to 208V would reduce wire size. a. Pump as submitted (120V, single phase): Feeder for pump tank, assumed distance of 500': 2#2/0 & #2/0G in 2"C. Feeder for grinder pump, assumed distance of 320': 2#1 & #1G in 1- 1/2"C. b. Pump as submitted (208V, single phase): Feeder for pump tank, assumed distance of 500': 2#3 & #3G in 1-1/4"C. Feeder for grinder pump, assumed distance of 320': 2#4 & #4G in 1- 1/4"C. 2) Reduced 150A feeder alternate a. Replace the 300A MCB on the existing panel with a 150A MCB. If the existing breaker has an electronic trip unit, then the settings can likely be reduced to 150A without replacing the breaker. b. The associated feeder could be reduced to (2) 2-1/2" conduits instead of (2) 3-1/2" conduits as called for. 02 CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS: 1) N/A 03 CHANGES TO DRAWINGS: A. Power to Hotbox 1) Refer to Sheets E-001 & E-002 a. Utilize existing 60A-2P MCB load center to power new hotbox. 03.A.1.a.1. Replace breakers per electrical drawings. b. Provide new duct bank to hotbox per detail 2/E-002. c. Provide receptacles at hotbox. B. Additional Light Poles 1) Refer to Sheet E-001. a. Light poles were added with site revisions under RFP #03. b. Electrical plan for circuiting purposes. C. Underground Feeds Site west buildings 1) Refer to Sheet E-001. a. Overhead wire that feeds site west buildings to be run underground from existing pole at drive to existing pole before existing underground. b. Poles to be removed after new feeds are run. 167
