Town Board of the Town of Hamburg September 14, 2026 Meeting 4.27. Streetlight Maintenance Contract Termination WHEREAS, in November 2025, the Town awarded the 2026-2027 Streetlights maintenance contract to McLaughlin Construction Corp; and WHEREAS, the contract requires that routine maintenance by completed within 10 business days of the work order; and WHEREAS, the contractor has failed to comply with the contract timelines several times since the start of work on January 1, 2026, and is currently non-compliant on several streetlight locations. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby terminates the contract following the required 7-day notice and authorizes the Engineering Department to notify them in writing as soon as possible. 41
