Town Board of the Town of Hamburg May 18, 2026 Meeting 4.16. Police-New Hire WHEREAS, the Hamburg Police Department has an opening for a Police Officer and a candidate is available on the Police Officer Residency Exam List #89434010; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board approves the recommendation of the Chief of Police to appoint Tiffany Major to the full-time position of Police Officer, probationary effective Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, the appointment is subject to all preconditions of employment including, but not limited to, physical, psychological, and polygraph testing. BE IT RESOLVED, the salary is $31.01 per hour, and funds are available in account B3120.100. 39
