Town Board of the Town of Hamburg May 4, 2026 Meeting 4.1. Notice of Public Hearing Proposed Local Law 7, 2026 LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF HAMBURG NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 13, 2026, there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg, New York, a proposed local law #7 2026. This proposed local law would impose a temporary 12-month moratorium on all battery energy storage system (BESS) facilities and Tier 2 and Tier 3 Solar Energy Systems in the Town of Hamburg. THEREFORE, pursuant to statute the Town Board will hold a public hearing on said proposed local law at 7:00 p.m. on May 4, 2026, at Hamburg Town Hall, 6100 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, New York 14075, at which time and place all persons interested will be heard. A copy of the proposed local law is on file for public review at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Hamburg during regular business hours.
