3) Fireworks Funding:

Meaghan Tent asked the board if there would be anything done differently this year
regarding the collection of funds and donations for the July 3rd fireworks display. Right now,
there is $3,000 in the firework fund, and it is believed a total of over $18,000 is needed for the
entire July 3rd celebration. Supervisor Snyder suggested a private group taking over the
collection of money and donating to the town in one lump-sum. The village and the county were
also brought up as possible donors, and Meaghan pointed out that the county donates the use of
the bandstand. Meaghan also brought up that one donor now donates all the money needed to
pay the bands in the parade, so a line of succession for that is also needed. It was agreed that
reaching out to the Chamber of Commerce first regarding handling the collecting of donations
would be the next step.

4) Presentations during July 3rd concert intermission

Councilmember Wrazen brought up a concern about the EA Softball Hall of Fame doing
their presentations during the intermission of the July 3rd concert, since they have no physical or
virtual location. This may bring up other organizations wanting to do presentations at the same
time, leading to a lengthy intermission. CM Wrazen’s recommendation was to limit the speakers
to the Supervisor and the Mayor, and have any honors or announcements done at the
organizational level.

5) Additional items

Supervisor Snyder discussed with Town Clerk Jeanne Viger regarding the Rezoning
Moratorium running out on 2/8 and the next steps needed to extend that. He also brought up Next
Air Energy, offering discounts of 5-10%. It was agreed they could be referred to the Climate
Smart Community Task Force.
Lastly, the former Town Clerk Martha Librock has come back in an advisory role in the
Town Clerk’s office and has requested to be paid bi-weekly. Everyone agreed that it was
acceptable if she submits an invoice.

Supervisor Snyder concluded the meeting at 7:36pm.
