TOWN OF AURORA SENIOR CENTER ] DIRECTOR’S REPORT Month of February 2026 The mission of the Town of Aurora Senior Center is to help older adults remain healthy and active through participation in recreational pursuits and to provide leadership and advocacy to ensure the availability of leisure and recreational opportunities for seniors. ADMINISTRATION: Tattended the Live Well Erie meeting at the Shiller Park Senior Center on February 5th, Our task force meets 3 times a year in addition to our monthly Older Adult Group. Deputy County Executive, Lynn Chimera, spoke about the goals and accomplishments the groups have achieved. We are looking to publish a complete listing of centers, housing, and resources for older adults. Our Senior Center director’s meeting was held on Feb, 4" at the Cheektowaga Senior Center. Our AARP tax appointments started on January 29" and will continue until April 14%. Day & time: M-F 8:00am- 4:00pm.
