Town of Aurora | Town Board Meeting | April 27, 2026 Recreation Director Chris Musshafen stated that non-resident registration opened April 27, following two weeks of resident registration. Programs are filling quickly, including day camp and swim lessons. Private swim lessons are also being offered. Staff training is scheduled for late May. Planning Board Chairman Doug Crow stated that he looks forward to the ad hoc Code Review Committee being formalized. He also suggested advertising for Planning Board applicants while advertising for the Open Space Committee vacancy, as at least one Planning Board opening is expected and possibly two. Councilmember McCann made a motion to move into Executive Action #168 Enter Exec Session at 7:15 PM and it was seconded by Councilmember Armbrust. Upon a Session vote being taken: ayes – four, noes – none. Motion carried. Action #169 At 7:56 PM, Councilmember Armbrust moved to exit Executive Session Exit Exec Session and return to the general session; seconded by Councilmember Wrazen. Upon a vote being taken: ayes – four, noes – none. Motion carried. Action #170 Meeting Councilmember McCann moved to adjourn at 7:57 PM and was adjourned seconded by Councilmember Wrazen.
