As stated in Town Code Chapter 65-41 — Time Limits, building permits shall become invalid unless the authorized work is commenced within six months following the date of issuance and a building permit shall expire 12 months after the date of issuance. The permit 2025-110 (a renewal of permits: 2021- 016, 2022-184, and 2023-451) has been expired since 10/5/25 and has an outstanding inspections to complete the permit application. Notices of Violation were sent to the owner via regular mail and certified mail on 3/24/26, 4/9/26, and 4/27/26, and all certified mailing was returned. The Building Department requests that this violation be referred to the Town attorney for judicial action. Attached are the notices and supplemental documentation.
