BIELER,PE., CFM July 10, 2026 Honorable Town Board Town of Orchard Park 4295 South Buffalo Street Orchard Park, New York 14127 Re: Advertisement for Bid Community Activity Center Picinic Shelter Dear Board Members: The Orchard Park Engineering Department is finalizing plans, specificat ions, and bid documents for the Community Activity Center Picinic Shelter Project. Plans and specifications for this project will be available for review in the Engineering Department. This project will include the installation of a new 16’x20’ Wood Picnic Shelter and Concrete Pad, There are also proposed alternates to include a 5.0’ wide concrete sidewalk and the installation of electricity and lighting for this shelter. Funding has been allocated through the SAM Grant. The Town was awarded this $150,000.00 through grant. There has already been $60,380.00 used for a new Senior Center Transportation Van. More funding may be needed for this project through Capital Account AB004 “Brush Mountain Community Activity Center Building” which has a balance of $1 388,078.00. Plans and bid documents will be available for pick up in the Town Clerks office on July 15, 2026. |, therefore, recommend that you authorize advertisement for sealed bids in the Orchard Park Bee for the Community Activity Center Picinic Shelter Project, to be opened on August 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Orchard Park Municipal Center, Basement Meeting Room.
