WEST SENECA COURT ROOM TOWN BOARD PROCEEDINGS 1250 Union Road Minutes - Meeting # 2025-24 West Seneca, NY 14224 December 22, 2025 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Councilmember Breidenstein - Also congratulated the Citizen of the Year recipients and commented that Councilmember Piekarec is a tireless worker - The community recently lost a teenager and extended his sympathies to his family and friends - Spoke kindly about Councilmember Kims and thanked her for her service to the town Supervisor Dickson - Thanked the Town Band for playing for those arriving at the meeting - Encouraged all to take a newsletter - Encouraged all to visit the Firemen's Memorial Exhibit on Seneca Street - Congratulated the Citizen of the Year recipients Councilmember Kims - Spoke of her deceased husband's encouragement to become involved with the town - Thanked the Town Board members and Highway Superintendent for their service and dedication to the town and the Department Heads and all employees of the town Councilmember Piekarec - Asked that the email be added back onto the agenda - Recognized the Town Bands Christmas Concert - Was very honored to be named Citizen of the Year and encouraged all to get involved in the town - Recognized the passing of a long-time volunteer fireman, Commissioner John Mett, and noted he gave 32 years of service to the community - Also spoke of Councilmember Kims, and Dave's, many years of dedication and service to the town Highway Superintendent Adams - Also thanked Councilmember Kims for her service to the town - Wished all a Merry Christmas Deputy Town Clerk Martin - From Town Clerk Newton, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thank you Councilmember Kims for your support of the Town Clerk's Office Deputy Supervisor Greenan - Also congratulated the Citizen of the Year recipients - The newsletter lists all meetings in 2026 - Thanked Councilmember Kims for her handwork and dedication which is an inspiration to young women EXECUTIVE SESSION 1.
