WEST SENECA COURT ROOM TOWN BOARD PROCEEDINGS 1250 Union Road Minutes - Meeting # 2025-24 West Seneca, NY 14224 December 22, 2025 On the question, Councilmember Piekarec stated the interviews include candidates for the Planning Board, also. Motion by Councilmember Piekarec, seconded by Councilmember Robertson, to amend the motion to enter into executive session to interview candidates for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Board at 7:30 P.M. Ayes: 5 Noes: 0 Abstain: 0 Motion Carried Motion by Supervisor Dickson, seconded by Councilmember Breidenstein, to leave executive session and return to the open meeting at 9:08 P.M. Ayes: 5 Noes: 0 Abstain: 0 Motion Carried Motion by Supervisor Dickson, seconded by Councilmember Robertson, to appoint Stephen Stachowski to the Zoning Board of Appeals, and further to appoint Mr. Stachowski as the Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals for a 5-year term effective January 1, 2026, and ending December 30, 2030. Ayes: 5 Noes: 0 Abstain: 0 Motion Carried Motion by Supervisor Dickson, seconded by Councilmember Breidenstein, to appoint Mark Beehler to the Planning Board for a full term effective January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2032. And further, to appoint William Wise to the Planning Board to fill a vacant position for a partial term effective January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2030. Ayes: 5 Noes: 0 Abstain: 0 Motion Carried Motion by Councilmember Breidenstein, seconded by Councilmember Piekarec, to direct the Town Attorney to research implementation of alternate members for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Board, further to report back on or before the Reorganization Meeting of January 12, 2026.
