WEST SENECA COURT ROOM DRAFT TOWN BOARD 1250 Union Road Minutes Meeting # 2026-14 West Seneca, NY 14224 July 27, 2026 NY funding; and be it further RESOLVED, that the sum of Five Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars ($535,792.00) is hereby appropriated to cover the cost of participation in the above phase of the Project; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Board agrees that the Town of West Seneca shall be responsible for all costs of the Project, including any costs that exceed the amount of reimbursement available through the Bridge NY funding awarded to the Town; and be it further RESOLVED, that in the event the costs of the Project exceed the amount appropriated above, the Town Board of the Town of West Seneca shall convene as soon as practicable to appropriate such excess amount immediately upon notification by the Town Supervisor; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Board commits that construction of the Project shall begin no later than twenty-four (24) months after the award of funding and that the construction phase of the Project shall be completed within thirty (30) months thereafter; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor of the Town of West Seneca is hereby authorized to execute all necessary agreements, certifications, and reimbursement requests with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for State Aid and/or Bridge NY funding on behalf of the Town in connection with the advancement, approval, administration, and funding of the Project; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town of West Seneca shall be responsible for all maintenance of the completed Project; and be it further RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution shall be filed with the New York State Commissioner of Transportation by attaching it to any necessary agreement in connection with the Project; and be it further RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
