EXPERIENCE Livingston County Water Supply Program GRANT FUNDED Location: Livingston County, NY It’s been 30 years since CPL completed the Livingston County Water Client: Livingston County Supply study that led to our first water main replacement project for Water and Sewer Authority the County. The study presented water resource utilization alternatives, Completion Date: 1991-Ongoing specific facility recommendations and an implementation schedule, and a discussion of potential management structures, including the creation of a Water and Sewer Authority. The result was a blueprint for the implementation of a comprehensive plan for the development of water resources in Livingston County. WATER PROGRAM DETAILS • 17 Towns CPL works with the Livingston County Water and Sewer Authority on a • 9 Villages regular basis to maintain and improve the system of delivery, treatment • Purchase Water via Contract and water storage. Several water main replacement projects have been advanced over the years, including the East Lake Road Water Supply and from 6 Municipalities Distribution project; Towns of Conesus and Sparta, Scottsburg Water • 7 Pump Stations Supply project and the Hemlock Water Supply Project. • 58+ Miles of Distribution and Transmission Line • 11 Storage Tanks • 3,710 Retail Water Customers 30 Page 100 of 301
