5.1 GHD Leadership Team
  Robert Lannon, PE
Project Director | Buffalo, New York
Bob is a Principal at GHD with more than 40 years of experience in the civil engineering field.
He has acted as Project Director/Manager for various municipal projects across Western and
Central New York, including evaluation and design of water and wastewater facilities, water
mains, sanitary and storm sewer systems, and pumping stations. Bob currently serves as the
retained engineer/engineer of record for several municipalities in Niagara County including the
Towns of Niagara and Lewiston, the Village of Youngstown, and Niagara County Sewer
  District No. 1.
As Project Director, Bob will have direct charge of the work with responsibility for ensuring the
team stays focused on meeting the Town’s objectives for the projects. Bob will also ensure
that Ed has the resources in place to support his management of the day-to-day project
delivery, while also providing technical leadership for the team.
  Edward M. Bradfuhrer, PE
  Project Manager/Sewer System Evaluation Lead/Hydraulic Modeling |
  Niagara Falls, New York
Ed has 16 years of experience in the field of environmental engineering. Ed’s background in
computer systems, hydraulics, hydrology, and geographic information systems allows
designers to better quantify and visualize issues that can impact projects early on, which
streamlines design and construction projects. He has been involved in the study, design, and
construction of many projects that range from raw water collection to wastewater
collection/treatment and stormwater modeling/design. Professional interests include
trenchless sanitary sewer rehabilitation, flow control structures, computational fluid dynamics,
  and hydraulic modeling.
As Project Manager, Ed will work with Bob and the Town to make sure the project team
develops deliverables in line with the Town needs and goals.
  John Story, PE BCEE
  QA/QC – Wastewater | Buffalo, New York
John is an Associate and Senior Project Manager at GHD, where he has been employed for
more than 20 years. He has led the study, design, and construction phases of several phased
collection system rehabilitation programs and large pump upgrades in upstate New York.
John has assisted numerous clients with phased programs for CSO and SSO mitigation, often
for compliance with NYSDEC-issued Orders on Consent. Many of John’s projects have
included the development of Capacity, Management, Operations and Maintenance (CMOM)
programs, as well as comprehensive pre- and post-rehabilitation flow monitoring. He
understands the importance of long-term reliability of critical collection system assets while
maintaining compliance with NYSDEC standards and EFC requirements.
John will provide project QA/QC related to the collection system SSES investigation and will
review all deliverables for technical accuracy and completeness prior to submitting to the
Town and any funding or regulatory agencies.
