The Village will not supply any material for the project. The reason for the betterment request: NYSDOT and the Village of Gowanda agree it is in the best interest of both parties to have NYSDOT design, prepare pians, quantify, estimate, and construct the project by NYSDOT contractor. The Village of Gowandia, in the interest of the best use oftheir resources, has agreed to a betterment to NYSDOT to let and award a contract fora lighting betterment contract for the Village. : - The work limits (stations) and length of the bettermentare: The responsibilities of the’various stakeholders: “ NYDOT may provide, upon request from the stakeholder, design for only municipal water, sanitary, and drainage facilities, but not for other municipal facilities. NYSDOT will never provide designs to for-profit owners. NYSDOT wil not hire consultants to provide designs for facilities the NYSDOT normally does not design.
