LOCAL LAW NO. ____-2026 VILLAGE OF EAST AURORA COUNTY OF ERIE, STATE OF NEW YORK A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 285-22 OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF EAST AURORA Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of East Aurora as follows: Section 1. Title. This Local Law shall be referred to as, “A Local Law Amending Chapter 285 of the Zoning Code of the Village of East Aurora to make “Self-Storage Facilities” a prohibited use pursuant to Table 22.3 (Manufacturing District Use Lists) with Chapter 285-22.3 of the Zoning Code. Section 2. Legislative Findings and Intent. The Board of Trustees recognizes the difficulties in balancing the promotion of new businesses within the Village of East Aurora with the geographic limitations faced by the Village with respect to locating areas suitable for industrial / manufacturing uses. Based on these geographic limitations the Board of Trustees deems it appropriate to limit the proliferation of future self-storage facilities by making “Self-Storage Facilities” an expressly prohibited use in the General Manufacturing (GM) District. This Local Law is not intended to ban, modify or condition any prior nonconforming uses. Section 3. Amendment of Table 285.22.3. The Board of Trustees hereby amends Chapter 285.22-3 “Manufacturing Use Lists”, specifically Table 22.3 “Manufacturing District Use Lists”, as follows: Table 22.3: Manufacturing District Use Lists [Amended 12-5-2022 by L.L.
