Page 1 January 8, 2026 TOWN OF CONCORD TOWN BOARD January 8, 2026 Work Session start 6:00 p.m. Supervisor Drozd discussed the following with the Board: 1. Supervisor Drozd proposed changing the time of the Board meetings from 7pm to 6pm. 2. Eden Vet Clinic is going to be charging the Town the following: $30 per day to board a dog, and $35 if the dog needs an updated rabies vaccination to be released. The mileage fee to send our DCO to Eden to drop off a dog is over $44, so Supervisor Drozd is proposing a $50 surcharge each time a dog is seized to offset that cost, and charging residents $35 per day for boarding. 3. Carolyn Robinson agreed to help out the new DCO for a consultation fee of $21.50 per hour. The DCO is also reaching out to other DCO’s in the area to ask questions. 4. ECWA sent out a complete packet of their charges for water meter billing. This will be something for Caleb and Jeff Smith to look at going forward. 5. Williams Auction called and anything that the Town took to them for auction is sold. Williams needs to wait 21 days for payments to clear before they will give us payment. 6. Council Member Krzemien and Supervisor Drozd received requests for park reservations. The supervisor’s office can just share the calendar of events with Highway Supt. Heim so that he is aware. 7. There are big problems with the bathrooms at Town Hall again. Reding has been in to camera them, and there is a low spot about 36-42 feet in, which is what Zeuch’s had thought when they last looked. Reding is going to come back and look with their camera and record for no charge. There is about 120 feet before it reaches the new piping, which was installed last year. 8. The fireworks at the park will be on Friday, July 3rd. Supervisor Drozd has the signed contract from Young Explosives. He has notified the Village, and is working on securing a band for the evening. 9. The NYS DOT concurred at 3:57pm on 1/8/26 that the PSP is complete for the Ross Road bridge. There were no historical properties identified or affected, and it was sent for review and processing. Rose is going to handle the paperwork and the billing but Supervisor Drozd would like to turn over the day-to-day business of it to Highway Supt. Heim at some point. 10. The school tax collection fee break down will be reviewed at a later date this year with the Town Clerk and the Town Board. 11. The chips check came in for $139,063, and the Town is now all caught up with the state. 12. The DCO received her new phone. The bill is only increasing $15 per month. The laptop has been ordered for her, and it is $426. 13. LOSAP still needs a few items from the fire departments, and Supervisor Drozd is working on getting them all taken care of. 14. Supervisor Drozd spoke today with Jena from Kaufman Utz in regards to a letter that he received from Drescher & Malecki about the yearly audit. He called the state and was informed that since the budget was his, it was his decision if he wants to have an audit this year. Next year the Town will probably need a CPA
