RESOLUTION: APPOINT 2026 SEASONAL BEAUTIFICATION LABORERS WHEREAS, the Town of Collins sponsors a Summer Beau ca on program to assist in maintaining the Town parks, cemeteries, and other Town proper es, and WHEREAS, the Town wishes to ll the posi ons necessary for this program, and WHEREAS, the Town adver sed for the posi ons of Seasonal Beau ca on Laborers and received four (4) applica ons for employment. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Collins Town Board follow the recommenda on of the Personnel Commi ee and appoint e ec ve on an “as needed/weather dependent basis” the following applicants as employees of the 2026 Summer Beau ca on Program at a rate of $18.70 per hour: Susan M. Harvey, Gregory S. Hazelton, Chris na Wilder, and as an alternate Abrie Iannucci. RESOLUTION: GRANT UDSA PROPERTY ACCESS REQUEST WHEREAS, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has requested permission from the Town of Collins to place traps on Town owned proper es for the purpose of monitoring the spread of the European Cherry Fruit Fly across NYS. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Collins Town Board hereby grants permission to the USDA to place traps on Town Proper es for the purpose of monitoring the spread of the European Cherry Fruit Fly. RESOLUTION: AWARD CONTRACT FOR TOWN OF COLLINS, TOWN PARK STREET PARKING PROJECT WHEREAS, the Town of Collins has resolved to undertake a capital improvements project to reconstruct the parking lot at the Collins Town Park along school street, and WHEREAS, the Town of Collins has publicly advertised the above referenced project to solicit bids to complete the scope of work defined within the Contract Documents, and WHEREAS, five (5) bids were received, opened and read aloud at a bid opening at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and WHEREAS, TruDirt, LLC, 9500 East Eden Road, Eden, NY 14057 was the successful low-bidder for the combined total of the base bid (to reconstruct and pave the Parking Lot along School Street), Alternate A-1 (to remove stones from 250-feet of drainage pipe) and Alternate A-2 (to replace 250-feet of drainage pipe). NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that 1. The Town Board authorizes the award of the Contract to TruDirt, LLC, 9500 East Eden Road, Eden, NY 14057 in the amounts of $109,726.00 for the base bid, $5,290.00 for Alternate A-1, making a total contract price of $115,016.00. 2.
