The rental property registration law has penalties that will be assessed when an owner fails to register with the Village of Gowanda. Those are not less than $100 or more than $1000 per day and would be set by a judge if it were to go to court. The Village would not set those penalties. Motion 2-155-Motion by Trustee Koch, seconded by Trustee Sheibley to approve the Rental Property Registry Local Law 1 of 2026. Motion carried. Water-Carol Sheibley Water had 2 water hearings for leak forgiveness. Motion 2-156-Motion by Trustee Sisti, seconded by Trustee Sheibley to approve the water hearing leak forgiveness on January 29th. Motion carried. Motion 2-157-Motion by Trustee Sisti, seconded by Trustee Sheibley to approve the water hearing leak forgiveness on February 3rd. Motion carried. Police-Ross Olszewski Motion 2-158-Motion by Trustee Zimmermann, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve the Erie County BOCES ride along intern student from April 27-June 5. Motion carried.
