Village of Gowanda Recreation Program Bonnie Saunders Director PROGRAM IMPLICATIONS Sue Camey Deputy Director YDP__ funded programs must provide a variety of developmental opportunities to youth under 21 years of age. YDP_ funded programs are designed to promote Michele Spring positive youth development by advancing the well-being of youth. Senior Accountant YDP __ programs must embed the principles of positive youth development, and promote the well-being of youth, by fostering the following: SERVICES e Physical and psychological safety Mandi Hemphill e Appropriate structure Case Supervisor ¢ Supportive relationships Katie Wilkinson e Opportunities to belong Case Supervisor e Positive social norms Kim Connell « Support for efficacy Nutrition Program ¢ Opportunities for skill-building Director « Integration of family, school, and community efforts Ellen Herner RSVP Director FUNDING ELIGIBILITY Programs eligible for funding must meet the criteria below: « Serve Cattaraugus County Youth under the age of 21 ¢ Provide community-level services, and support to promote positive youth development. e Have a non-discrimination policy ¢ Collect data, including participant demographic information, as re- quired by OCFS in a manner that allows for accurate reporting of anonymized aggregate data. « Demonstrate competency in the areas of governance, monitoring and evaluation, partnership and financial stewardship.
