PUBLIC HEARING Minutes Local Law 2-2026 Short Term Rental Chapter 197 May 12th 2026, at 7:04pm Supervisor Howard called the public hearing to order at 7:04 pm at the Wales Community Center, 12345 Big Tree Road, Wales Center, NY PRESENT: Taken at prior Public Hearing Supervisor Howard Councilman Newman Councilman Gallo Councilwoman O’Connor Councilman Butcher Also present were Town Attorney Phyllis Todoro, and (8) residents whose names are on file. The Town Clerk read the Legal Notice PURPOSE OF HEARING: Supervisor Howard stated that we already had a public hearing, and from those comments and concerns, we did make some revisions to the law. PUBLIC COMMENTS: NONE ADJOURNMENT MOTION#__ by Supervisor Howard and seconded by Councilman Newman to adjourn the meeting at 7:07 pm Carried ayes-5 noes-0 Mindy Eaton, Wales Town Clerk
