'\tR EAST AU RORA J;l •. r1amber ct\\ I ~\·. c)r11rnc3rc;e EA Summer Street Festival Permit Amendment 6/1/26 The permit for the EA Summer Street Festival submitted by the Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce was approved in April 2026. We respectfully submit an amendment to the approved permit to allow for alcohol tastings on the street during the festival on 7/25/26. We've had several members ask if they could do tastings during the event if they had all required state permits. This amendment would be for tastings only. However, if they have correct state permits, they will be allowed to sell their bottled or canned product at the festival. We would make it very clear to them that nothing can be sold for consumption on the street during the event (ie. a glass of wine or pint of beer/mead). Chamber Executive Director Victoria Sturman has discussed this with both Mayor Luke Wochensky and Chief Patrick Welch, who have given their support of the amendment. The Chamber would limit the number of tasting vendors to three. Businesses interested in possibly holding tastings include: • Ethyl's Wine Store • Bee Spit Meadery • 42 North Brewing Company
